Well I like detective games, although I don't know, I find the riddle system kind of out of place, I mean do you really think that some one would put riddles so you can solve them?, also I think that the system in that you have to circle clues has potential but in my opinion is kind of missing something. Well I solved part of the case at the begining but I was unable to do something about until I found the clues to trigger the events.

Muja responds:

Thank you for your review! I'll think about your suggestions

Well congratulations, using primitive paintbrush sprites and a single tone, you were able to create an actual horror game, well I think that horror is better if you let it build in your brain, well two things I see a lot of potential in this kind of atmosphere and two, you really need to do something about the constant keyboard pressing.

Nirag responds:

Hi! Thank you for your review!
You're right, the constant keyboard pressing is an "arrow-keys-smasher" on these games. Unfortunately, that's a feature of Bitsy, too. In Bitsy, every main character moves of only one tile for every time the arrow key is pressed, and it's not possible to create a smooth navigation movement. And always pressing the arrow keys can be a little tiring.

This game reminds me my job

JackAstral responds:

lol what do you do?

I reaaly don't see the chalenge in this game, is like just walking on the jewels and following a couple of instructions to get the keys and open the doors, maybe adding some mechanics or some enemies to make it more diverse.

Naiyte responds:

Sorry to disappoint and thank you for the feedback.

I was trying to go for a casual puzzle game. Alot more mechanics are added as the game progresses and the difficult is also increased.

Great game, feels like i´m playing on a jigsaw puzzle, like that painting that has stairs everywhere.

GroZZleR responds:

Learning time: those are called Penrose stairs and Escher did the paintings - thanks for checking out the game!

Well it has been a while since I was playing a game for this long in this portal, but I'm kind of fan of platform games with riddles or weird stuff, I like the design and the art, except for the gems that seem kind of out of place, I like also the laugh that sounds when you lose, kind of "I got you", I also like the traps thing but I have to say that the spike trap is kind of sudden, it doesn't give time, it doesn't give hint or something to help you avoid it and since my point of view is funnier to avoid a trap than to guess a trap and basically all hint that I have for that one is to think where would I put it.

adytt responds:

Because of the traditional Japanese grading systems used in Traditional Martial Arts that use only 4 grades aka the 4 scrolls and the level has 8 levels, I needed something to give the user as a reward when finishing a level so I opted for the gems, as for the hidden spikes I used it like this so that one should really use the "Ninja 6th sense" to avoid it :)

I think that this is a very nice game, like a trip to a flowers field, just relax and enjoy the landscape, but I have to tell that the objectives are not clear and it need some more enemies.

deathink responds:

You have to get to lvl 9999 to unlock new enemies.

This game represents everything that is wrong with censorship, I find it terribly boring because all the text that was accusing me of being this and being that, it kind of reminds me of that annoying fairy from zelda mixed with a bitter and old school teacher.

Men this must be the best game that I have played in this site, it's just awesome, so creative, you never know what is going to hit you next, you must have spent weeks programming all that stuff. I give the complete five stars that I reserve for games that have something else. Well I also think that the main character could use a face, some background, personality, etc, and also you may create a background history, also yu have to make part 2.

nazywam responds:

Thank You, that means a lot to me :) This game was created for glitchjam which lasted 21 days, so yeah, there was some night-coding :P
As for graphics, I understand, I am actually pretty crappy at graphics so I just looked for sprites and theese seemed to be the best option.
Ps: If you are interested in code, this game is actually open source. You can get it here:
https://github.com/nazywam/GlitchJam
Although I have to warn you, it's complete mess :D

How do you start the game?

crazygamesdotcom responds:

Click the red-bordered asteroid or click 'Astraea'. Sorry about not making that clearer in the game!
